Mundaring Businesses Celebrate Harmony Day 2018
LOCAL businesses in the Shire of Mundaring celebrated Harmony Day with the community this year in a number of different ways.
The colour orange was used to celebrate Harmony Day, celebrations included staff wearing orange clothing, orange balloons to decorate a premises and orange themes in shop windows.
On Wednesday 21 March Mundaring businesses showcased the strong spirit of inclusiveness, reminding the community that our collective commitment to cultural diversity is one of our greatest assets and that we are stronger because of it.
Each year Harmony Day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Details can be found on the Harmony Day website, www.harmony.gov.au
