Mundaring Arts Centre – Current Exhibitions (August/ September ’18)

Friday 03 August through to Sunday 16 September
Gallery 1 | Don’t Jettison Everything
The current trend towards fixing or reinventing, as a reaction to our throw away culture, acknowledges something that artists have always done, seeing the beauty in unexpected places. MAC celebrates the ingenuity of its members with an exhibition of works created from the discarded, the broken or the abandoned.

Curated by Mikaela Castledine, Don’t Jettison Everything features artwork by a selection of talented Mundaring Arts Centre members at a variety of stages in their careers. Mikaela Castledine is a MAC board member, artist, writer, and designer based in the Perth hills.
