May Sundowner Recap
Our May sundowner was hosted by The Community Bank Mundaring and with approximately 70 registrations it was our biggest sundowner event on record, so thank you to all that came along and showed support. We certainly packed out the room at The Mount Helena Tavern.
This month we encouraged our members to bring along a business buddy and it was really great to see many new faces in attendance. The diverse range of businesses we have come to our events is really remarkable and I personally enjoy hearing everyone’s stories and business-owning adventures.
The Community Bank updated us with all the great things they have been working on in the community of late, including assisting victims of the Woorooloo Bush Fires. Andrea Southam gave a great update on the success of the annual raffle with over $90k raised which 100% of goes back to the community.
Justin Pires, Branch Manager of The Community Bank had everyone rubbing their hands together as he opened up his speech by saying he was going to give everyone some money. The money came, as promised and boy did it taste delicious. $100 note in the form of a delicious iced cookie.
We were treated to a lot of tasty food and drink on the night, thanks again to The Community Bank for putting on such a great event and to all our members who came and showed their support.
See you at the next sundowner.
