What is Disc Golf
Disc Golf is played like traditional golf.
However, instead of hitting a ball with a club, players throw a disc from the tee pad to a metal basket. The aim of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible. The player with the lowest score for the course wins.
WTDGC is WFDF’s premier disc golf event and sees teams of up to 12 playing disc golf for their country in team and individual match play formats. WTDGC 2024 will be the fifth iteration of the biannual championship, with the first event held in Vancouver, Canada in 2016 with 6 countries taking part, and the most recent event in Croatia last year with 25 national teams.
