Work Ready Certificate

Mundaring Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Bendigo Bank Mundaring, the Shire of Mundaring, LYC Business Solutions and a range of local business owners, to deliver a series of training sessions to help our youth enter the workforce.

Currently the Perth Hills have one of the highest percentage of Youth unemployment in the country, which is a great concern for teenagers and their parents.

Happy Holidays From Mundaring Dental Centre

As we come towards the end of the year, Mundaring Dental Centre is getting super excited to see all of its patients finishing their treatment. A lot of the centre’s patients book appointments before the start of “silly season” so their smile can be the best it can be. They also benefit from the use of their health fund. As of January 1st, most of the health funds re-set, and have a ‘use it or lose it’ policy, which means whatever you don’t use, it doesn’t roll on to the next year.

Local Business Opportunity to get involved with the Shire’s ‘Summer of Entertainment.’

Welcome summer!! Shire of Mundaring invites its local cafes, restaurants and food outlets to support the Summer of Entertainment by offering event day specials.  Event goers will be encouraged to pack a picnic to enjoy at each event and we would like to be able to promote a shop local approach, encouraging our community to pick up a pizza, picnic hamper, sushi, kebabs etc from one of their local stores before heading to the event.  Or for the Twilight Tunes series, to consider enjoying the concert and then going on to a local restaurant for dinner afterward.  To help promote the events and event specials, it would be great to see local eateries displaying blue lights in their windows so the Shire can recommend that people check out the blue lights for event specials.
